The largest hemp company in the USA officially revealed its first international expansion. Southwest Alberta’s Medicine Hat was chosen as this very first site. “We have secured acres of land to build our 100K square foot state-of-the-art Health Canada approved vertically integrated hemp extraction and purification facility,” announced Kashif Shan, CEO of Folium Biosciences.
A surprise announcement at Tuesday’s annual State of the City address, as hemp oil manufacturer Folium Biosciences is the newest large company to make the move to Medicine Hat.
